The Circle of Friends card is a 2-for-1 ticket discount card that lists over 70 theaters throughout New England including companies in the Maine, Merrimack Valley, Cape Cod and Rhode Island. Each Theater makes their own policies regarding distribution.

Q: What is the Circle of Friends card?
A: The Circle of Friends card is a two-for-one ticket card distributed to over 50,000 households to promote greater awareness of theater in our region.

Q: Who is eligible to be listed on the Circle of Friends card?
A: Listing on the card is available only to StageSource Organizational Members. All Individual, Individual PLUS and Theater Lover members receive one Circle of Friends card per year as part of membership benefits.

Q: What are the valid dates of the cards/Can I set my theaters criteria for use?
A: The current (2015-2016) card is valid through September 30, 2016, and we state on the card that the card is not valid at the issuing theater. Your theatre may set your own policies regarding the performances at which the card will be honored.

Q:What are the criteria to be listed on the card?

A: There are only two criteria for being listed on the Circle of Friends Card:

The organization must be a current StageSource member
The organization must hold publicly announced performances
{We ask that organizations try to monitor effectiveness of the Circle of Friends Card to help StageSource improve this service.}

Q: What are the responsibilities of the card holder?
A: The cardholder is responsible for calling the box office of the theater they wish to attend to:

Identify themselves as a Circle of Friends cardholder
Determine the availability of tickets
Determine the theater’s Circle of Friends policy
Make reservation/purchase

Q: How many theaters are listed on your card?
A: Last year over 71 theaters took advantage of this audience development tool and we want even more theaters this year!

Q: This sounds great! How do I sign up!?
A: If you are an Audience Member or Non-Organization - all you have to do is sign up for a membership! If you're an Organization, make sure your membership is current and we'll send you information on how to sign up in February/March 2016 for the 2016-2017 card!


Q: How much does shipping cost?

A: Shipping costs are based on the number of cards you order:

Individuals pay nothing.
25-50 - $8

75-100- $10

101-500- $15

501-2000- $20

2001-4000- $40


6001+ - $80

Over 500 pick up at office - $20 handling

Pick up for orders under 500 cards - FREE

Q: Ack! My organization isn’t a member! What do I do!?
A: If you are not currently a member of StageSource but would like to add your company to the card for next year, you can sign up for membership and learn about all of our other services and benefits here
