Jeremy Allen Thompson has fifteen years experience developing and implementing effective communication strategies. As director of marketing for Massachusetts College of Art and Design—the nation's only independent public art college and the first art school in the United States to grant a degree—he oversees the Office of Marketing and Communications and sets the strategy for building and sustaining the college’s reputation. Since establishing an integrated marketing program in July 2007, he has guided MassArt through the initial phases of a successful rebranding initiative, including the creation of an award-winning visual identity system, the overhaul of its public relations program, and the redevelopment of its online presence.
Thompson has worked for the American Repertory Theatre at Harvard University, Stoneham Theatre, the University of Vermont, and Alabama Shakespeare Festival. He also has served as a consultant and strategist for numerous not-for-profit organizations.
Thompson holds a bachelor’s degree in arts management from Western Michigan University and a master’s degree in arts administration from the University of Alabama.
