| | PHIL PATRONE An event to celebrate the life of Phillip Patrone will be held on Monday, May 19th at 7:30pm at New Repertory Theatre. Everyone in our community who was touched in some way by Phil is invited to come and share stories, memories, photos, etc., with each other, and with Betsey and Grace. If you are interested in helping to organize the event, bring refreshments, or to RSVP your attendance, please contact Rachel Harker at harkerrachel [at] yahoo.com -------------------------- Boston-area actor and former StageSource board member Phil Patrone passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2008. Phil was a valued member of the theatre community, having helped lead StageSource's Actor Alliance in 2001, and was the recipient of a 2001 Elliot Norton Award for his performances in “Side Man” and “Inspecting Carol” at the Lyric Stage Company. Recently, he appeared at the New Repertory Theatre in "Pillowman".  Phil's wife Betsey Patrone has shared details of the wake and funeral. She knows that many of us loved Phil a great deal and want to be able to share in his remembrance. Visiting hours will be Monday, March 24, from 4 - 8 pm at Brown and Sons Funeral Home, 36 Trapelo Road in Belmont. The funeral will be held Tuesday, March 25, at 9am at St. Joseph's Church, 128 Common St, also in Belmont. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the Stanley Tippet Home, 920 South Street, Needham, Ma, which is the hospice where Phil spent his last days.
