The world premiere production of Shh! runs July 9-25 at the Boston Playwright’s Theatre and features local artists from a wide array of backgrounds.
The New Exhibition Room, or NXR, ensemble is building the piece using Supreme Court cases, banned books, current events, mythology, Sesame Street and other sources of inspiration.
Shh! will borrow techniques from various theatrical masters, serving up a physical and emotional exploration of all the things we can’t say or do.
