SUE KOSOFF

Susan Kosoff co-founded the Wheelock Family Theatre (WFT) in 1981 and currently is the Theatre's producer and a frequent director. WFT is nationally known for its pioneering work in nontraditional (or colorful) casting and its commitment to making professional theatre experiences accessible to all segments of the population. Ms. Kosoff is a tenured member of the faculty of Wheelock College, where she teaches theatre courses. She has an extensive background in educational and theatrical consulting and has worked with young people and adults in a variety of capacities for over thirty years. A published playwright and author, her work has been performed on stages around the country. Her most recent book is a two-volume set, The Young Actor's Book of Improvisation: Dramatic Situations from Shakespeare to Spielberg (co-written with Sandra Caruso), published by Heinemann in Spring 1998.
