Amy Merrill is a playwright and author of many plays. In addition, she is an Associate Professor at Berklee College of Music and a member of the Musical Theatre Initiative there. She is also the founder of Blackbird Productions, Inc., a 501 (c) 3 not-for-profit organization dedicated to new plays and playwrights. She is a proud member of Stagesource and the Dramatists Guild.
