AMY MERRILL
Amy Merrill is a playwright, producer, and author of many plays. Her short plays have been featured at the Boston Theatre Marathon (THE DANGER ZONE, MISS BETTY...) and the African-American Theatre Festival (MISS BETTY...) Most recently, her DRIVING ON THE LEFT SIDE: A REGGAE PLAY had its off-Broadway premiere in July of 2005. As a producer, she founded Theatre Boston, Inc,which presented an award-winning play by Brandon Toropov at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2002, and Blackbird Productions, Inc., which produced DRIVING ON THE LEFT SIDE. Amy is an Assistant Professor in the Liberal Arts Department at Berklee College of Music. She is also a member of the Dramatists Guild. She joined Stagesource back in the mid-80s, and is pleased to serve on its Board of Directors.
