| | JEREMY JOHNSON, MEMBER SERVICES MANAGER  Jeremy has been with StageSource since September 2000. He is a graduate of Emerson College where he studied directing, acting and set design and also trained with the New Jersey Shakespeare Festival. He has directed or assistant directed for SpeakEasy Stage Company, Boston Theatre Works, Lyric Stage Company, Boston Playwrights' Theatre, the Market Theatre, the FleetBoston Celebrity Series, the Charlestown Working Theater, and the Theater Offensive.
Most recently, he directed the Boston Premiere of Speech & Debate at the Lyric Stage Company of Boston which received the 2009 Elliot Norton Award for Best Production for a Mid-Size Company and a nomination for Best Ensemble. He also directed the Boston Premiere of Edward Albee's The Play About the Baby and Jean Genet's The Balcony for Boston Directors' Lab. Other recent directing credits include The Wind and the Willows (Gloucester Stage Company) The Scarlet Letter and A Christmas Story (Foothills Theatre) The Pajama Game (Stoneham Theatre) and Street Scene (Cambridge School of Weston).
Jeremy has appeared onstage in Shakespeare's R & J (Mill 6 Theatre Collaborative) SpeakEasy Stage Company's The Last Sunday in June (2005 IRNE Award-Best Ensemble) and Boston’s longest running whodunit, Shear Madness. He is also a certified yoga teacher through Yoga Alliance.  |
