Script and Lending Library
Many theatres make perusal copies of scripts of plays from their current season available at the StageSource office for actors to read prior to auditions. Look for announcements in the Auditions ENews. We invite anyone to visit the Script Library to read a play in preparation for an audition during StageSource office hours (M-F, 10am-5pm). StageSource also has a collection of scripts, directories, periodicals, and other theatre resources available for loan. StageSource members are invited to borrow at no cost resources from the Lending Library. Please see the link below for a comprehensive list of plays available in the office. We plan to post additional lists of our numerous directories, biographies, ect. in the future.
We would like to extend our extreme gratitude to our "Resident Librarian", longtime StageSource member Birgitta Knuttgen for organizing the Library. She has spent countless hours alphabetizing and cataloguing our stock of over 800 plays and it's always a pleasure to spend time with her here at the office.
