A convening of 250 actors, directors, designers, playwrights, production and administrative personnel and audiences consider issues facing the Boston Theatre community today, explore opportunities and confront challenges, connect with old friends and make new ones, inspire and be inspired, and celebrate Boston theatre. In February 2008, StageSource conducted a survey Snapshot of Metro Boston Theatre and issues raised in responses will launch our discussions at the Boston Theatre Conference (for a summary of the Snapshot, visit www.StageSource.org/conference.cfm). The Conference will also feature conversations with Boston’s two newest Artistic Directors Diane Paulus (American Repertory Theatre) and Peter DuBois (Huntington Theatre Company), and Providence’s Curt Columbus (Trinity Repertory Company). Included will be panels, discussions, breakout sessions, speakers and opportunities to network.
