Come join Praxis Stage in welcoming StageSource on Friday 2/16 when they will be co-hosting a Parity Party at our production of Ntozake Shange's _for colored girls who have considered suicide / when the rainbow is enuf_, directed by Dayenne CB Walters at Hibernian Hall!

Be sure to come at 7:15 for a pre-show period of hanging out and hobnobbing! And stay after the show for a talk-back with Julie Hennrikus, StageSource's Executive Director, followed by a refreshments-served reception, and a chance to meet the cast and director.

Praxis Stage is extremely proud that this production offers Boston theater-goers a work that at just about every level of creative decision and execution is the product of the vast talents of a team of women of color. This evening's event will celebrate the totality of this effort. Even more importantly, we want to create a space where our audience can build networks for and have directed conversations that generate and support similar productions. Productions where the collective work of women playwrights, producers, actors, directors, and technicians is recognized as central to its success. Additionally, our event serves to highlight StageSource's commitment to advocacy and awareness-raising around issues of parity.
