New Play Contracts for Playwrights and Fringe/Small Theatres

David Faux, Associate Executive Director of Business Affairs for the Dramatists Guild, will talk about contracts for production at, collaboration with, and commission by small and fringe theatre companies for new plays. This is a joint event with the New England New Play Alliance and the Dramatists Guild. The goal is to enable everyone involved at this level to better understand basic contract and legal issues--so this event is for playwrights, producers, and directors. We want companies in our community to be up to speed on how to work with writers in a way that is clear, fair, and protects everyone. (There will also be yummy snacks.)

To RSVP, email Patrick Gabridge atpgabridge@dramatistsguild.com. The event is free, but seating is limited, so please be sure to reserve a spot.
