From StageSource Board Member, Patrick Gabridge:
"The creation of strong new theatrical work is vital for our artform and for the Boston theatre community to continue to grow. StageSource is committed to actively supporting the development of new work by our members. In an effort to bring together various groups serving playwrights, StageSource is coordinating the Boston Playwrights' Alliance. The goal of this alliance is to actively engage the entire playwriting community in the Boston area by: facilitating communication between playwright groups, providing information to writers, fostering relationships between writers and other members of the theatre community (including producers, directors, actors, and designers), and educating writers on elements of business and craft."
