We've got some new faces to introduce you to in the office! Geena—our new Membership Manager, and Elizabeth & Mavis—our Spring interns for the semester.
Geena M. Forristall (they/them/theirs) is a producer, stage manager, and artist whose work centers on queerness, inclusive storytelling, and community building. In their work, Geena is interested in collaborative interdisciplinary art, with a focus on building relationships, connecting Boston's theatre and larger arts communities, and finding ways to uplift the voices of lgbtq+ artists. They are passionate about joy, magic, and all things just-a-bit weird.
In addition to being the Membership Manager at StageSource, Geena has worked as a producer with Spark Haven Theatre and Brown Box Theatre Project, and as a stage manager with Central Square Theatre, Lyric Stage Company, Commonwealth Shakespeare Company, Off The Grid, Company One, Theater for the New City, Punchdrunk NYC/Emursive's Sleep No More, and the international tour of Kultar's Mime, among others.
Geena is a member of Actors Equity Association, and holds a BFA from Hofstra University.
Elizabeth Baker (she/her/hers) is a senior Theatre Arts Major at Boston University! She has focuses in acting and playwriting and is passionate about "doing the impossible" in her artistic work. Elizabeth especially loves facilitating new work as an actor, playwright or supporter. She also strives to use theatre as a platform to start discussions about our world today and bridge community. With this, she is thrilled to be interning with StageSource to continue her path in learning to do so in Boston. While not immersed in school, she loves to cook for her friends, knit, and make jewelry!
Mavis Manaloto (she/her/hers) is thrilled to be interning with StageSource this semester! She is a sophomore at Boston University studying Public Relations with a minor in Arts Leadership. At BU, she is involved with Stage Troupe, BU Filipino Student Association, and WTBU Radio. She is very passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion in the arts. In her free time, Mavis enjoys going to concerts, reading her horoscope, and catching up on the latest Netflix series.
