It is part of our role as a community member. So what does that mean to you?

  • Own the impact that the arts and culture have on our economy, and be proud of that. The Arts Factor (from ArtsBoston) can give you some statistics--we will get you others.
  • Tell your own story.
  • Out yourself as an artist (or theater lover).
  • Pay attention to alerts, and act on them.
  • If your senator, rep, governor, mayor, selectman, town manager, or any other elected official votes or acts in support of the arts, write or call with a thank you.

The arts aren't just nice, they're necessary.
