International Federation of Actors
The International Federation of Actors (FIA) is a global federation of performers’ trade unions, guilds and professional associations. Founded in 1952, it represents several hundreds of thousands of performers with some 90 member organisations in more than 60 countries around the world. FIA’s main purpose is to voice the professional interests of actors (in film, television, radio, digital media, theatre and live performance), broadcast professionals, dancers, singers, variety and circus artists and others.

Consortium of Boston-Area Children's Theatres
Provides a network for Boston-area children's theaters to enhance access to resources and audiences, to share ideas and build upon and enure one another's success, and to broaden the rewarding, long-lasting effects of children's theater on both the public & the participants.

Cultural Access New England
Champions the belief that the arts must be accessible to all regardless of physical or cognitive abilities or financial means. CA-NE works in partnership with community members to provide cultural institutions with access technical support, access information and referral, and outreach initiatives linking human services and arts organizations.

Eastern Massachusetts Association of Community Theatres

Massachusetts Educational Theatre Guild
METG exists for the charitable and educational purpose of promoting and strengthening excellence, access, and education in the theatrical arts for middle and secondary school students and teachers.

Promotes Massachusetts as an ideal destination for filming, thereby strengthening and leveraging the overall economic infrastructure of the Commonwealth.

The Small Theatre Alliance of Boston is an organization dedicated to fostering the growth of small theaters and emerging artists in the Boston theater community.

TSNE Mission Works
Formerly Third Sector New England, provides management and consulting services, training programs, and community-based engagement activities to increase organizations' capacity to achieve their mission.

Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts of MA
Established to meet the legal needs of the state's artistic community. provides a Legal Referral Program, seminars and workshops to artists and arts organizations from all creative disciplines including, among others, visual arts, music, literary arts, performing arts, and film and video.

VSA arts of MA
Serves individuals with disabilities by creating opportunities for participation in the arts and integration into the cultural and educational mainstream of our communities.

We are all advocatesOwn the impact that the arts and culture have on our economy, and be proud of that.  Tell your story, pay attention to cultural legislation, thank your representatives and elected officials when they support the arts.  Tell the world why the arts aren't just nice, they're necessary.

Works with creative leaders, working artists, arts educators and arts and cultural supporters to empower creative organizations and the public with a powerful voice to advocate for the resources and attention necessary to build vibrant, connected, and creative communities.

Supports and grows the arts and culture sector of Greater Boston by providing vital research and audience building programs that encourage participation in arts and culture, stimulate demand and raise attendance. Including The Arts Factor, a report highlighting the economic and cultural impact of the arts in Boston.

Artists Under the Dome
Home of the Massachusetts Artists Leaders Coalition (MALC). It acts a resource and tool for individual artists of all disciplines and strives to follow and inform artists on state policy, legislative & regulatory actions. Empowering individual artists to become more engaged with the democratic process and public policy making.

Performing Arts Alliance
A national policy advocate, leadership forum, and learning network for America’s nonprofit performing arts organizations, artists, and allies.

While it is very difficult to have to think about how to prepare for the worst case scenario, we wanted to point you to some resources that may be helpful as you think about how to handle situations.

Theatre Community Benevolent Fund (TCBF)
TCBF provides financial relief in a confidential, respectful manner to individual theater practitioners and non-profit theater organizations of Greater Boston and the surrounding areas, facing occurrences of a catastrophic nature including but not limited to extreme illness, devastating acts of nature, housing emergencies, vandalism, and theft, and who have limited or no resources with which to handle such events.

CISA - Active Shooter Preparedness
Active shooter incidents are often unpredictable and evolve quickly. In the midst of the chaos, anyone can play an integral role in mitigating the impacts of an active shooter incident. DHS aims to enhance preparedness through a "whole community" approach by providing  products, tools, and resources to help you prepare for and respond to an active shooter incident.

Built by national non-profit Fractured Atlas, SpaceFinder currently serves 12 cultural hubs across North America (NYC, LA, Bay Area, Chicago, DC, Philly, Toronto, etc.) and has been dubbed by TheNextWeb as the 'Open Table' for artists.
